Scott was accused of being the gunman who sprayed Fox’s SUV at a Springfield Gardens intersection on January 3 ,  2014, murdering the rapper and wounding three others. One of those victims is Rayesha Brockington, who initially stated that the triggerman was wearing a mask before identifying Jamal Scott as the assassin. Scott became the the man with the motive after detectives learned that Fox and another man had allegedly murdered Scott’s older brother outside of the Jamaica Baisley Park Houses in the summer of 1998. Now Brockington is doing a 180 on her story and claiming that NYPD detectives coerced her into fingering Scott with the threat that they’d report her to ACS and have her children taken away if she didn’t cooperate. The newly-signed Aftermath Entertainment artist has released his All In A Day’s Work  mini-documentary that shows the build-up to his Coachella set where he brought out Dr. Dre . The clip features footage of Paak and Dre rehearsing and planning out the set. Paak says that working with Dre changed how he approaches his music and how he works in the studio. But, he also feels that he is rubbing off on the Doctor as well. “I think it’s refreshing for him to work with an artist who has a lot of range and dynamic and not just rap, but can sing and knows the notes and plays drums and has a different approach,” says Paak. The Hennepin County Sheriff asked the DEA to assist in the investigation, NBC News  confirmed Wednesday (April 27). The exact prescription drugs discovered at Prince’s home were not revealed, and it’s unclear if they relate to his untimely passing. The DEA wants to determine “ where the medications came from ,” and which prescriptions were obtained by Prince himself. MLive Reports: Sasha Avonna Bell was one of the first of a growing number of people to file a lawsuit in connection to the Flint water crisis after she claimed that her child had been lead poisoned. Bell was found dead April 19 in the 2600 block of Ridgecrest Drive at the Ridgecrest Village Townhouses. Sacorya Renee Reed was also found shot to death in the home. An unharmed 1-year-old child was also found inside of the Ridgecrest home when Bell’s body was discovered and was taken into custody by child protective services. When 54-year-old   William Simmons Sr. was arrested Monday (April 25), he told police that he stole from BK to pay off a drug debt. Simmons, who is a registered sex offender with a lengthy arrest record,  started working at the location on March 29. He reportedly lifted $3,191.10 from the register, in addition to the thousands he jacked in sausage patties, biscuits, and other Burger King food items. Police began investigating last weekend when a manager busted Simmons on surveillance camera leaving the restaurant door unlocked (so the alarm wouldn’t go off), and sneaking back inside.
