Nas and his money are in the news again. This time it’s for the state of Georgia slapping him with a $570k tax lien.

Bossip reports:

Rap veteran Nas owes a ton of money to the tax man – more than half a mill to be exact.

That’s according to the state of Georgia’s Department of Revenue, who hit the “If I Ruled The World” rapper with tax liens totaling $571,550 because officials said he never paid taxes on his income from a few years back…The other lien, also filed in March, is for $425,842 in back state taxes from his 2007 salary. That amount includes a nearly $60,000 penalty, more than $57,000 in interest and a nearly $71,000 “collection fee.”

It’s somewhat of a trend to find out how much money Nas is getting through reports like this. In 2011, the IRS hit Nas with a federal tax lien for nearly $340,000 for taxes for his income from 2010.
