As we all know, Meek got locked up and was unable to promote his album, Dreams Worth More Than Money.  At this point, all parties are dealing with frustrating and if Maybach and Meek want to avoid a falling out, planning will be important. 

Further delay

How much delay is too much? For Meek, I am certain that he is anxious and wants his album to release yesterday.  When he has sits down with the suits, they will definitely inform him that they do not want to rush the release.  Meek will probably react similar to the way The Lox reacted when Diddy/Bad Boy began limiting their freedom. 

Dream Chasers Records

Could further delays lead to Meek focusing on his own label? Meek laid the foundation with Lil’ Snupe and the buzz that Snupe was able to gain under Meek proves that Meek/Dream Chasers should be taken seriously.  After Snupe’s tragic death and Meek’s time served, the label is back at ‘Go’.

Born and Raised

We have to consider the fact that Meek is not allowed to leave Philly due to the terms of his probation.  From the label’s standpoint Meek is in the same position that he was when he was incarcerated.  He is not able to tour in order to connect with his fans around the world.  Moreover, Philly is where Meek was born and raised therefore it is very difficult for him to stay out of trouble when he is in they city.

From The Bottom

Ok, solutions.  Meek has to go back to grind mode if he wants to get out of this one.  Back to nappy braids, freestyling on the Philla. block Meek.  No, Meek should not look to literally start battle rapping again, but the mindset he used back then, must be implemented here.  Although he cannot reach his fans in person, he is still able to stay relevant through his music.  Team up with Drama, and bang-out another mixtape.  Not any mixtape, a mixtape that leads up to a classic album.  Drop a verse on any  and every relevant instrumental that has released recently.  After seeing Meek do the Show me the money dance on the day he got out, we are waiting for a classic verse on the Hot N**** beat.  We need a NEW classic from Meek and Rozay.  If Meek can get Jay to drop a verse that would help of course.  Since Meek and Glizzy dropped that Chiraq remix, the streets have been fiendin for these two to create another classic collabo.  Meek can remind fans that his is on another level through collaborations with relevant names in today’s rap game ie Drake, Kanye, Wayne, etc. 

Easy Does It

Meek cannot rush his sophomore release.  It is nearly impossible to keep the fan’s  attention from the cell.  Patience is a virtue Meek.  Although it may seem like Meek has been waiting his entire life, a well-planned, strategized album release is vital at this point.
