The Pink Print is On the Way: Nicki and Beyoncé Team Up On New Track 'Feeling Myself'
Feeling Myself
Nicki and Bey team up for the track ‘Feeling Myself’ from
Nicki’s upcoming album ‘The Pink Print’.
After the buzz that the ‘Flawless’ Remix generated, it is only right for
the two to continue to collaborate. This
track has the lyrical appeal that New Yorkers always bring to the table and
that Houston bounce that Beyoncé has perfected.
It reminds me of one of the many classics Jay/Bey have released over the
years.
Nicki’s Strategy Guide
Nicki simply cannot do anything wrong as of late. As mentioned, the ‘Flawless’ Remix, where she
successfully showed that she was on the same level as Queen B through her hot
verse. Beyoncé can be a hard act to
follow yet Nicki was more than able to keep up.
Nicki’s rendition of Mix-A-Lot’s hit was remarkable to say the
least. Nicki’s willingness to
say…ANYTHING and her creativity, kept fans guessing when listening to the track. Nicki proved that she has the ability to
generate hits using just about anything.
Then there was the track ‘Only’ which featured Drake, Lil’ Wayne and
Chris Brown. Nicki’s initial lines
sealed the deal and every artist’s portion of the track was hot. Nicki and Meek teamed up on the track ‘Big
Daddy’ where Nicki again proved how lyrical she is along with the fact that she
is dynamic and able to switch flows according to who she is collaborating with. You cannot forget about Nicki’s hit ‘Pills N’
Potions’ along with the track she recently performed on SNL: ‘Bed of Lies’.
A Week Before The Blueprint
Nicki’s album is yet to release and we have already
confirmed that about 25% is hot. About a
week before the release of ‘The Blueprint’ we could only confirm that ‘Izzo’
was a hit yet the album ended up being a classic. Nicki’s third album will be the same, a
classic. She is invisible right now,
from her rendition of ‘Chiraq’ to her enjoyable appearance on SNL…Sit back and
take notes people. Nicki’s manual is
exactly what the game needs right now.
