Will Jay-Z Sign Lil' Wayne? 5 Determining Factors

ONE
Trouble in Paradise
As Lil' Wayne remains unsatisfied with Birdman and Cash Money, we can conclude that Wayne will be able to successfully get out of his deal in due time.  The Birdman has made so much money off of Wayne that I do not think he will force him to stay on the label.  Pride will play a major factor in it all, although they love each other, neither could handle conceding to the other.

TWO
Roc Nation
As Jay-Z continues to build Roc Nation, I am sure he will pursue Wayne.  There have been rumors in the past, but this seems to be the time.  Jay's frontline includes J. Cole, Beyonce and Rihanna.  Adding Wayne to the mix will make Roc Nation one of the most powerful companies in music today.

THREE
The Ability to Relate
Mr. Carter can relate to Mr. Carter.  Both Wayne and Jay ran hip-hop in their prime therefore Jay will ensure that Wayne's creativity will be able to flow freely on Roc Nation.  Jay can promise Wayne that there will be no album delays because he understands.  Birdman has never been in the position that Wayne is in, so he cannot relate.

FOUR
Business Opportunities
At this point in Wayne's career, it is time to expand.  Although the Birdman is an exceptional businessman himself, Jay-Z is not a businessman, he is a BUSINESS MAN.  Jay's business ventures range from the 40/40 clubs to the Brooklyn Nets to D'Usse cognac.

FIVE
Regrets
This is not the first time that Lil' Wayne has showed his frustration with Cash Money.  The following video, from 2008, shows Wayne explaining his frustrations with the label.  Baby still seems to be cheap with is artist.  That is something that Wayne does not have to put up with at this point in his career.
