A Tribe Called Quest Streamed Phife Dawg’s Memorial Live On Periscope [VIDEO]

A Tribe Called Quest invited fans to help honor the life of Phife Dawg. The 45-year-old MC’s memorial, which was held Tuesday (March 29) afternoon, was streamed live on Persiscope.

The ATCQ twitter account tweeted yesterday, “Please joins us in celebrating the life of Malik I. Taylor aka Phife Dawg,” along with a link to the memorial.

Phife, passed away at his Northern California home March 22, from complications brought on by diabetes. Contrary to previous reports, ATCQ was not working on a new album at the time of his death.
