Nas & Erykah Badu “This Bitter Land,” Quadry America, Me, & More | Wired Tracks 7.27.16
The first-ever Nas and Erykah Badu collaboration (surprising, much?) arrives today on the coattails of The Land, a film the two have worked on in varying capacities.
Nas, an executive producer, and Badu, a star in the Cleveland-based story, find a groove on “This Bitter Land.” The song appears on the official soundtrack, which releases the same day as the film on July 29.
Pusha T, Jeremih, Dave East, Stalley, and more will appear on the project.
Additionally, this edition of Wired Tracks features America, Me, a body of work from Baton Rouge’s own Quadry. A scant 10-tunes in length, there’s no room for filler in the rhymesayer’s hyperaware world, which inspires commentary on continuous trend of police killing Blacks, his mismanagement of relationships with women, and more.
