Chance The Rapper’s ascension to superstardom and household name recognition continues as the Chicago rapper has found himself engaged to give a private performance for another fellow Chicagoan, President Barack Obama.

According to the “Chain Smoker” rapper’s Twitter, he’s been booked to perform at the White House’s National Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony, December 1.

An honor it truly is as before himself only six other rappers in history have received an invitation to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. Not all were there to rip the mic either. Lil Chano will perform alongside American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson and gospel singer Yolanda Adams at the event.

Tickets go on sale October 7 and the ceremony itself will be televised on December 2.

http://ift.tt/eA8V8J A man in an Easter Bunny outfit and a pissed off father got into a physical altercation this past weekend in a New Jersey mall. Of course it was caught on cell phone footage.  Reports NJ.com : A brawl between a mall Easter bunny and customer at Newport Centre Mall started when a young girl slipped out of the photo-op chair after having her picture taken, a Jersey City spokeswoman said this morning. Just after 5 p.m. yesterday, police were called to the mall on reports of a fight, spokeswoman Jennifer Morrill said. A 22-year-old man playing the role of the mall’s Easter bunny told police a 1-year-old girl had slipped out of the chair after she had her photo taken with him, Morrill said.
