Moonlight Wins Best Picture At The Oscars, Mix Up During Announcement

Despite a major L during the announcement, Moonlight won Best Picture at the 89th Annual Academy Awards in Los Angeles. Warren Beatty initially announced La La Land as the winner, but NOPE!

It was the last award presented of the evening and it made for a hella awkward close to the show.

Warren Beatty tried to explain his F up, but whatever man, Moonlight won.

Also, Mahershala Ali picked up a Best Supporting Actor Oscar and Viola Davis picked up a Best Supporting Actress Oscar.

Black Excellence indeed.
