Freddie Gibbs sees a lot of similarity between he and Logic’s latest cover art and promotion and he’s not feeling it.

Gibbs called out Logic on Instagram by tagging him in a video accusing him of “jocking my sh*t.” Earlier this month Gibbs released images and videos promoting his upcoming album You Only Live 2wice. It is inspired by ancient Europan style paintings and an accompanying video featured the kind of music you’d expect to hear in a gallery.

Logic recently dropped a similar video for his upcoming project.

Yes, both clips and covers do look similar. But did Logic steal the idea?

The artist commissioned to paint Logic’s cover, Sam Spratt, posted a story explaining the inspiration. He says that Logic called him months ago while he was in Paris visiting the Louvre and told him he wanted his cover to look like “The Wedding At Cana.” He also stated on Twitter that he’d been working on the painting for six months.

Could this be an instance of “great minds think alike” or does Gibbs just sound like a guy who just got out of jail?
